Au Courant Bronze Face Gel Review

Au Courant is a creator of many self-tanning products and seem to be a friendly group as they emailed us to help us fix a mistake we made in an earlier. So far Tanning Moisturizer.com has only reviewed the Au Courant Instant Sunless Tanning Spray, which our site found to be a solid combination of DHA (skin darkening catalyst), alpha-hydroxy, and a pump driven spray applicator. The Au Courant Bronze Face Gel is similar: DHA, alpha hydroxy, but in an oil-free gel form that you can apply with either your hands or a special applicator. The self-tanner comes in dark, copper, and clear for different skin tones and whether or not you want the bronzer elements. It is darker than you might otherwize expect and it goes on sheer (“Special features include extremely sheer results”) and they mean it. Keep in mind if that’s what you want your face to look like, you may prefer something softer or more subtle. There is also a “sensitive skin” version which has extra aloe vera but is otherwise identical.

Overall, the Au Courant Bronze Face Gel, at $19.95 for a 2oz bottle, is a solid 7.5.
