Using towelettes for sunless tanning first became popular with a very popular product on the market called Tan Towel. Since the use of sunless tanning products have increased in the last few years, more and more companies are introducing new formulas to their sunless line. Esteee Lauder now has their own sunless tanning towelettes called Go Tan.
Go Tan is a no mess/no stress sunless tanning towelette that contains the proper amount of sunless tanning on each premoistened towelette for a gorgeous sunless tan. This proceedure is often preferred by sunless tanners because of it’s convenience and “no-mess” feature. Go Tan starts to show results of a natural streak-free tan in just one hour.
Easy steps for using the Estee Lauder Go Tan Towelettes : 1) Exfoliate 2) Apply sunless tanning towelettes by sweeping lightly over skin and unfolding the towelette as you go. Be extra gentle on elbows, knees and ankles. 3) Wash hands when finished to avoid staining.
Estee Lauder Go Tan Towelettes come packaged 10 per box. They are individually wrapped and ready for use.
You can purchase Estee Lauder Go Tan Towelettes online at Estee Lauder for $28.00.

Sunless Tanning Overview from Consumer Reports
March 24, 2006 on 12:17 pm by MurphyCheck out this article at Consumer Search. Incuded are tips from experts including info about DHA (dihydroxyacetone) which is the main ingredient in most sunless tanning products. Here is a brief snippet they have on self tanning pills:
Some companies have sold capsules containing the chemical canthaxanthin, which they falsely claimed will tan skin and protect from sunburn and cancer; in June 2004, the FDA ordered these companies to stop selling canthaxanthin capsules. ASN Canthaxanthin capsules and Bronze EZ Canthaxanthin are two examples, both formerly marketed by SmartBodyz Nutrition. Experts warn that these capsules do nothing to protect skin from sun exposure or cancer.
There is a good overview of several brands including L’Oreal, Neutrogena, and Estee Lauder. You can also find Tanning Moisturizer reviews on our site.
Get Rid of Sunless Tanner Streaks on the Skin!
August 20, 2005 on 7:23 am by ShimshockWe’ve tried to provide some proactive advice for avoiding streaks from tanners because…well really, who wants animal-style printed skin? I mean, I like wearing leopard print, but I don’t want it on my skin for a whole season! But if it’s too late and you’ve ended up with some tanning stripes on your skin, do not despair. AuerSaver Tanning & Fitness provides some expert correction tips for both pale and dark skin that is unevenly tanned:
If you’ve got stripes but are still on the pale side, touch up with Estee Lauder Go Tan Sunless Towelettes ($27.50 for 10 towelettes; esteelauder.com), handy, prepackaged wipes that contain self-tanner. Or try evening out the area with a tinted moisturizer or bronzer, like Calgon Ahh … Spa! Instant Bronzer, a multivitamin lotion ($7; at drugstores). If your streaks are too dark to cover, Viotto recommends lightening them by wiping the entire area with a cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice, which should do the trick.
And in the future, make sure to follow these tips for even skin coloring:
1) Exfoliate every morning in the shower. Start a few days before you use the tanner
2) Use moisturizer for a few days before you self-tan. But don’t use it immediately beforehand, as it will interfere with your self-tanner’s absorption.
3) Give yourself a day or two before and after self-tanning to shave or wax.
4) Take your time while rubbing in the self-tanner.
5) Use a lotion instead of quick-drying foam.
If this process seems a little too complicated, you might want to try a product like Jergens Natural Glow instead of your self-tanner.
